Dr Prasad Athreya is an Australian-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in Paediatric Orthopaedics and Foot and Ankle Surgery. He has extensive experience caring for children with a wide range of orthopaedic conditions, from newborns through to adolescents.

Dr Athreya completed advanced fellowships in Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgery at Starship Children’s Hospital in Auckland and Foot and Ankle Surgery in Sydney. He is also a Clinical Lecturer with the University of Sydney.

At Norwest Kids Specialists, Dr Athreya provides expert assessment and management of children with conditions such as flat or high-arched feet, clubfoot, limb and joint injuries, growth and developmental concerns, in-toeing or out-toeing, knock knees, toe walking, and congenital deformities.

He is known for his caring and approachable manner, working closely with families to ensure children receive comprehensive, evidence-based care in a supportive environment.
